The Strymon PCH X1 features a custom-fitted and isolated transformer design that delivers incredibly clean and high-quality audio signal. Strymon's custom transformer design is phantom-powered for a pristine sound that handles ultra-high frequencies (above 80KHz) as well as it does ultra-low frequencies (below 10Hz), which keeps lower-frequency signals from getting distorted – as they commonly can. Perfect for either direct injection interfacing or line isolation, the PCH X1 features a non-buffered thru output and a balanced XLR out, allowing feeds of the input signal to an additional device like an onstage monitor or separate amplifier. An onboard ground lift switch and high-pass filter assist in keeping signals absolutely clean of hum or unwanted frequencies on a simple on/off basis. Phantom microphone power means the PCH X1 is ready to go with no other external power supply, save for the microphone's.
