Engineered from a clean sheet, every part of this MS500i kit is a new patent pending MaxFlow® design.  Using the factory cover would have seriously reduced airflow so we developed a totally new design that maximises airflow through a full size MaxFlow element while still keeping the functional lines of the original. It fits perfectly using the stock alignment locations and mounting knob.  Sure, it costs a bit more, built it is purpose built to give the MaxFlow® performance you have come to expect. The rain and brush baffle or cylinder shroud will need to be customised to suit each users cutting situation.
