The American Dream series welcomes a new member, the Taylor AD17e-SB, featuring a beloved tonewood combination and a stunning finish.

This guitar features a Grand Pacific body, and boasts volume, sustain, and a rich, woody character thanks to the V-Class bracing beneath its solid spruce top. The solid walnut back and sides contribute to the warmth and a finely tuned midrange that resonates with the familiar Taylor sound, regardless of playing style. A firestripe faux tortoiseshell pickguard, black top purfling and a black/maple rosette add a touch of style.

The AD17e-SB also offers undeniable comfort with its full-bodied frame, chamfered body edges, and a 25.5-inch scale length. Its neck is cut from neo-tropical mahogany, and boasts a smoked eucalyptus fretboard with a nut width of 1.75-inches, topped with Italian acrylic dot inlays.

For amplified sound, the AD17e-SB is equipped with Taylor's ES-2 electronics, allowing a faithful plugged-in recreation of this guitar's nuances, all easily controlled with a discreet volume and tone control found on the upper bout of the guitar.

The Taylor AD17e-SB comes complete with a grey Aerocase gigbag.
