It has a socket in a crown and you can plug in your lamp there. You can take a torch from its holder, if needed. When a torch is in its holder, the circuit is closed and electrical current goes inside till a socket in a crown. There is a lock if you need to make sure that nobody takes it out without your authorization. You will not find anything similar to it. It is very decorative! It can serve as a lamp for your porch or entryway lamp or inside house lamp. Not for outdoors. This lantern creates a medieval atmosphere of old viking times!

WAY OF PRODUCTION
The way how it was created: we combine traditional blacksmith techniques, perfected over hundreds of years of experimentation and development , with modern forms and methods to produce beautifully distinct pieces of functional art. Each piece is forged at extremely high temperature and hammered by hand. Pliable when glowing hot, the iron is shaped into graceful, flowing forms. In our world of high technology, there is a distinct place for organic forms and hand-wrought metal design elements.

CUSTOMIZATION
Custom orders are welcome (different colour, size, content). Based on this metal sculpture lantern I can do any customization. The customization can be limited only by your imagination. I can make the engraving (name/date) on the torch handle.

I keep usually 1 piece always available. If on the moment of your order it will not be available, please allow 10 - 20 days for its making.
