This vintage Bedouin face veil, commonly known as the burqa', is a traditional garment worn by Bedouin women in the Southern Sinai desert region of Egypt. It dates back to the second half of the 20th century and features intricate embroidery in geometrical diamond patterns on its top band. This band is adorned with two rectangular, embossed brass elements with spherical dangles. They hang just above the eyes. The center of the band is embellished with two hands of Fatima. Attached to the ends through hoops, two hand woven bands, possibly a more recent addition, secure the veil to the head. Beads in shades of blue, red, orange, black, and white are woven into a long string and hang from either side of the top band.
The lower part of the veil is made of a sheer material, possibly silk, and is sewn on top of a backing textile made of a combination of stain and cotton. The top border is adorned with an x motif and the veil is further adorned with three rows of Ottoman coins, the largest is a medallion with Koranic verses. The veil is also decorated with brass elements and buttons.
The veil is in good vintage condition. A similar veil can be seen in the Textile Research Center (Leiden) (TRC 2004.0066)

I would not recommend if you can afford something more expensive
So far the sublimated color is not true: (example) the pretty pink comes out as orange on both polyester fabric and wooden coaster using the only three setting on the printer: paper, photo glossy, photo matt. There is no “presentation” setting for the excellent color I had on the Epson ET-2800 (which I would NOT recommend for durability nor Epson’s customer service!).
I purchased Epson, again, ONLY because I could not afford other sublimation printers and this one had the best reviews of what I could find. But Epson has its customers held hostage by way of the ink. IF YOU USE ANY BRAND SUBLIMATION INK OTHER THAN EPSON, THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY. And Epson ink is EXPENSIVE (“average” is ~ $0.55/print based on 200 pages/bottle) when compared to the brand offered on Amazon as a substitute.
So I’d recommend buying the Assurion coverage if you plan to use sublimation ink other than Epson. That is the ONLY thing that saved me when the ET-2800 went Caput (twice!). (The last time it was trashed, so Assurion refunded the original purchase price—within the mfr warranty time which Epson refused to honor.)

Get’s the job done.
It works good. It didn't come with a cord or clear instructions on how to use it. I used my cord from my printer to get it started. I would have sent it back but you can't once you add ink.
