They have a variety of character marks some are spalted, some have knots, some have cracks or soft areas. However, on the whole they are all useful and of quality

The pieces range between 1/8" and 1/2" thick, with most of them on the thiner side of that range. They have a variety of character marks -- some are spalted, some have knots, some have cracks or soft areas. However, on the whole they are all useful and of quality woods. I tend to look at these and think of small projects with a Glowforge, a dremel, a wood burner, and that sort of thing. These make beautful jewelry, such as for earrings and pendants. The packs are priced out by weight, and I include an assortment of Texas-grown woods in each pack. Typical species likely include: Bodark, Mesquite, Texas Ebony, Oak, Walnut, Pecan, Ash, Maple, and Huisache. I aim for about 2 pounds per pack, which is often around 8-12 pieces (but count varies based on what we're cutting through at the moment). Photos are not of the exact batch that you will receive.
