Introducing our latest addition to the ALOHA GEMS USA product line, the Gigantic Mexican Orange Spiny Oyster shell graduated beads. These beautiful beads come in a loose strand of 15.5 inches in length, with a 1mm hole size, and are 100% natural, not dyed, and not color-enhanced. Please note that this is not a finished piece of jewelry, and clasp is not included.

The Mexican Orange Spiny Oyster shell, also known as Spondylus princeps, is found along the Pacific coast of Mexico, from Baja California to Ecuador. The shell has been used for centuries by the indigenous peoples of the region, including the Aztecs and the Maya, for various purposes such as jewelry, tools, and currency. The shell is also known for its beautiful orange-pink color, which has made it a sought-after material for decorative items.

The process of obtaining and preparing the shell for use in jewelry making is labor-intensive and cannot be mass-produced. The shells are hand-collected from the ocean floor, cleaned, and cut into small pieces to create the beads. The beads are then hand-polished and drilled to create the 1mm hole. Due to the intricate and time-consuming nature of this process, the Mexican Orange Spiny Oyster shell beads are considered a luxury item and are priced accordingly.

In addition to their beauty, the Spiny Oyster shell beads also have cultural and spiritual significance. In traditional Mexican culture, the shell is believed to bring good luck and prosperity. It is also said to represent the ancient Aztec goddess of fertility and earth, Tonantzin. In spiritual practices, the shell is used to promote healing, peace, and protection.

Aloha Gems USA is dedicated to providing you with the finest Spiny Oyster shell beads available. Our commitment to quality and authenticity means that each strand of our natural beads is selected with great care and attention to detail. We believe that these beautiful and rare beads are not only a valuable addition to any jewelry collection but also carry a rich cultural and spiritual significance. We invite you to discover the beauty and energy of these unique beads and to create your own stunning jewelry pieces with them.

Great watch, amazing price

Solid piece for a great price. It’s eye catching but not too flashy. Looks very stylish but also with a hint of vintage appeal. I wear it atleast once a week in rotation with other watches. No issues and holds up very well. No issues since I’ve gotten it and loved the style so much that I went back and bought the white and gold faced timex too.

Good looking for a cheap watch, but will not pass for high end
Color: Tan/Blue
Looks pretty good for a ~$50 watch. I could tell a clear difference in quality versus a similar $125 Fossil watch though, which i preferred even considering the price difference.
