It can also be set to custom specifications for certain recipes, with a maximum temperature of 230 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Market Forge ALTAIR II-6 electric steamer has a stainless steel exterior that resists corrosion and is heavy duty for high-volume use. To ease cleaning, the anodized aluminum internal compartment has a nonstick finish, and this compartment can hold six 12-inch by 20-inch by 2.5-inch pans. Inside the steaming cavity, a convection fan moves steam around, evenly cooking all food.
