We are proud to release SPD's 2023+ Ford 5.2L Raptor R Alpha Catted Downpipes.
SPD's Industry first Alpha Cats provide ultra-high flow while meeting green emission standards. Factory Raptor R downpipes are very restrictive with 2.25" front tubes and 2.5" post cat tubes. This causes very high back pressure and hot EGTs. Factory cats are burning up with cat temp as hot as 1950 degrees. With SPD Alpha ultra high flow cats and larger 3" diameter mandrel bent tubing, you will improve throttle response, mileage and overall performance while reducing back pressure and cat temperatures.
SPD's flanges are CNC laser cut 304SS flanges and are TIG & MIG welded for strength and durability. SPD designed in a 4" flex pipe to absorb shock from engine movement and chassis flex. These pipes do not require custom tuning and can be used as a factory downpipe or crossover replacement.
SPD Alpha Cats
SPD Alpha Cats are next generation ultra high flow green emissions catalytic converters and are truly an industry first. This platform needed a catalytic converter that would have high flow and green emissions. Every catalytic converter that was tested in the industry either had green emissions or high flow, but not both. SPD's Alpha Cat is a 400cell catalytic converter and will outflow previous 400cell performance cats by more than 90%. They are extra loaded with Rhodium, a platinum-based alloy that is required in a catalytic converter, to reduce NOX in the exhaust to meet new emission standards.
