A "Banner" era guitar that continues flying it, we have the Gibson LG-2 All Mahogany Faded. This small-bodied, player-friendly Gibson acoustic wraps up generations of Gibson excellence as it throws back to the Banner year of 1942. An all-mahogany build makes this compact companion an undeniable dream for Gibson fans of all generations and players of all stripes.

A true winner of an acoustic from Gibson's "Banner" years, we have the Gibson LG-2 All Mahogany Faded. This compact, small-bodied, and player-friendly Gibson acoustic follows up generations of Gibson excellence as it hearkens to Gibson's Banner year of 1942. An all-mahogany build makes this acoustic a definite dream for Gibson fans of all generations and players of all marks.

If you were a Gibson enthusiast in 1942 (or know a bit of your history), you'd know that that year was a pretty pivotal time for the legendary guitar brand. With the introduction of the LG-2, Gibson brought about a smaller-scaled acoustic made of mahogany and a red spruce top. Regardless, wartime material shortages meant substitutions occurred frequently. All types of guitars came about from these cycles of shortages. However, today's LG-2 All Mahogany Faded is well, just that. Gibson's acoustic mastery manifests through this all-mahogany body and neck build perfect for any type of music. This build aligns with a number of fine Gibson specifications resulting in one knockout of an instrument.

As we just said, the Gibson LG-2 All Mahogany Faded assembles with a Gibson LG-2 body made entirely of mahogany. Solid mahogany is called upon to make up its back, sides, and top. The guitar's understated black binding lines its edges while a traditional scalloped X-bracing pattern delivers that ever-important boost in projection. The body is then treated to a classy, faded Vintage Sunburst finish that gives it a refined aesthetic.

This LG-2 at this point welcomes a mahogany neck shaped in a Rounded profile with a compounded dovetail neck-to-body joint. Effortlessly playable, this neck is then coupled with an unbound rosewood fingerboard lined with twenty Standard frets and detailed with humble Mother of Pearl dot inlays. Playability is further prioritized with a number of reliable hardware appointments such as a sloped, rectangular rosewood bridge with a bone saddle and TUSQ bridge pins. At the scale's opposite end, Grover Strap tuning machines and a bone nut meet at the headstock for seamless tuning and string changes. An L.R. Baggs VTC under-saddle transducer pickup is built into this LG-2 to meet the performance needs of modern players. This Gibson LG-2 All Mahogany travels with an included Gibson hardshell case.

A small-scaled companion to meet you on your musical journey wherever it takes you, to the stage or the couch, the LG-2 All Mahogany Faded is a wonderfully welcoming entry to the Gibson Acoustic lineup.

So pretty and functional!
Color: Gold, Size: 33.9"W, Color: Gold, Size: 33.9"W
This cart arrived promptly and was easy to put together for me! I love the 2 mirror shelves, which I had specifically searched for. Usually the shelves on these bar carts are just glass and not mirrored, which means you see right through to the next level, which is wine bottles and the floor. I thought the mirrored shelves reflecting back just what’s placed on it looks so much more elegant. I also like the gold color, but just so you know, it is not the jewelry gold color, but more of a matte metallic taupey-gold (hard to describe). The color is pretty, but not the shiny, yellowish gold color that it appears to be on this seller’s pictures. I added another gold tabletop wine holder (also from Amazon) on the lower shelf and you can see what I mean by the color. Overall, I am pleased with the price, elegant look, easy assembly, the maneuverability, and how much it holds.

Sturdy, smaller sized supply caddy-well crafted.
Size: 5 Tiers (5.1"D x 39.2"H), Color: Rustic Brown + Classic Black
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Started out asking friends what they use for a cart - to clear stuff off their drawing boards, desks, etc. I've got an unusual amount of "things" in my workspace, and although I keep paints in a separate caddy to one side on my drafting table, the topside clutter was getting unbearable. Due to people giving me things, my interest in a few crafts, and just junk. Mainly I use the my wonderful, old, 1950s school cast-off - drafting table for painting - as it tilts and I have an edge on it. I've been wanting to also replace the top board, too. The usual caddies didn't appeal to me - the plastic ones annoy me as I can't see in the bins at what I should easily be able to reach and cannot see-though the opaque plastic. As I purged the clutter I realized I needed way less than I had and that's how I determined the size of the rolling cart. I use my spare garage and I have a lot of space, but that's the kicker - the more space you have the more things you could have, too. That's my reasoning for choosing a smaller cart. Narrow, to keep it minimal. Black metal to hide dirt. Wheels? a bonus - I'll just pull it back and forth out of its space--it's not going to be a trolley. I picked this one out of several because of price, and size, but I may come back at another time to purchase a larger one for the coat closet - mittens & hats & ski goggles & stuff.  I am going to look at the same brand, but I'm also going to choose one with sturdier wheels.  THIS CART was easy to put together, no issues at all. I didn't time myself - it took a while - under an hour is my best guess due to all the small pieces. I know it was manufactured this way to be able to fit it in as small a space-box for shipping, as possible. It was tedious, but certainly not an issue. Just lay it out the way the diagrams show you - they are perfectly done. It's sturdy enough as a supply caddy - you can't sit on the thing, or let kids romp on it but it's stiff in all the right places and the handle is perfectly placed. The top of it will hold my tablet or phone - next to my table; it's not a decor piece, but the black finish does look rather nice -with the faux wood/wood laminate top. Basket depth is well thought out, too. Coffee cans with paint brushes, some other tools, but the best part is no more clutter taking up space on top of my drafting table and I can actually use it the way it was intended!
