The Mini Maton Diesel Model is a small bodied guitar with a very big voice. Though it is a lot smaller than a standard dreadnought, this guitar packs a punch well above its weight.. This models features an "AA Select" Grade Solid Sitka Spruce top, solid blackwood back and sides, AP5 pickup system, gold Grover machine heads, and a Vintage Amber Stain.

The Mini Maton Diesel Model can be purchased in 6 and 12 string configurations.

One of the most visually stunning furniture timbers available, Blackwood has also become an important tonewood. Most of the Blackwood comes from the Otway Ranges in Victoria, Australia. It often displays "fiddleback" character and "AAA" grade Blackwood can be intensely figured. It has a warm, full tone with a particularly pleasing mid frequency response and has become one of the most sought after timbers. It may be of interest to learn, that whenever a Maton employee gets to make their own guitar, they almost always choose Blackwood.

This Pre-Owned 2014 Maton EMD6 is in Great condition with very minimal to no play wear or fretwear. It does have 2 small dings in the top as well as some of the matte finish has turned gloss from play wear. The saddle has also been replaced with the original saddle in the case (for someone who might like a lower action)
