How to Install Epson 220XL Ink Cartridge

1. Turn on the printer. If an ink cartridge is empty, the printer screen will indicate which one needs replacement.

2. Open the scanner unit or the cartridge cover.

3. Squeeze the tab on the side of the cartridge and lift it out of the holder.

4. Remove the new 220XL cartridge from its vacuum-sealed bag.

5. Important: Remove only the Yellow Tape labeled "PULL." Do not touch the green chip or the ink port.

6. Insert the cartridge into the slot that matches its color and press down until it clicks into place.
