The Maton EMD Mini Maton Diesel Model is a small bodied guitar with a very big voice. This models features an "AA Select" Grade Solid Sitka Spruce top, solid blackwood back and sides, AP5/Pro pickup system, gold Grover machine heads, and a nostalgic Vintage Amber Stain. The added touch of the sunburst adds even more personality to this unique instrument.

The Mini Maton Diesel Model can be purchased in 6 and 12 string configurations.

One of the most visually stunning furniture timbers available, Blackwood has also become an important tonewood. Most of the Blackwood used comes from the Otway Ranges in Victoria, Australia. It often displays "fiddleback" character and "AAA" grade Blackwood has the ability to be intensely figured. It has a warm, full tone with a particularly pleasing mid frequency response and as a result has become one of the most sought after timbers.
