This set contains 850 standard-size cards issued in three series of 405, 407 and a 38-card Final Update set. The front design features full-bleed glossy color action photos with player, position and team name at the bottom in two stripes reflecting the team's colors. The horizontally oriented backs have a color head shot on the right side, with player profile highlights and statistics on the left. The set starts with NFL leaders (3-19), 1990 milestones (20-26), 1991 Hall of Fame inductees (27-31), college award winners (32-36), past Heisman trophy winners (37-45) and Super Bowl XXV highlights (46-54). Cards 55-324 and 433-684 are in team order. Further subsets include special games of the 1990 season (325-342), NFL officals (352-369), Stay in School (370-378) and 54 All-NFC (379-405) and All-AFC (406-432) drawings by artist Merv Corning, NFL Newsreel (685-693/813-815), Legends (694-702), World League Leaders (703-711), Hall of Fame Photo Contest (712-720), Think About It (721-729), first through third round Draft Choices (730-772) and a Super Bowl XXV Theme Art card. Since two #1 cards were issued, no #2 card exists.
