Pushing the boundaries of what an acoustic guitar can deliver, Yamaha has introduced the TAG3 C TransAcoustic acoustic-electric guitar, a dreadnought style instrument that changes how songs are written, performed, and shared. With an innovative electronics system supplying on-board natural effects, real-time looping, Bluetooth connectivity, and convenient mobile editor, the TAG3 is the future of forward thinking, innovative musical creation.

Though the TransAcoustic electronics are the star of the show, Yamaha knows that a well-crafted and great sounding guitar is necessary for the revolutionary implementation. The body is constructed from a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, providing a rich, balanced tone that projects even without the added electronics. Finished in a Sand Burst gloss finish, the natural grain of the wood peaks through the finish and gives life to the orange-to-yellow burst. A smooth mahogany neck offers easy movement across the 25.56" scale length, with full access to the 20 frets provided by the treble side cutaway in the body. An ebony fingerboard is affixed to provide pronounced mid-range tone and accentuated high-end attack. Maintaining tuning stability and supplying additional resonance, an ebony bridge is implemented in conjunction with a urea saddle and black ABS bridge pins, leading up to a urea nut and champagne-gold open gear tuners.

The TAG3 C expands the possibilities for songwriting and performance with the new TransAcoustic electronic system, blending effects, looping, and Bluetooth connectivity naturally into the resonant timbre of the acoustic guitar. Powered by internal actuators, this system vibrates and reacts to the guitar's tone, introducing real reverb, chorus, and delay effects that radiate organically from the guitar itself. In addition to the effects modes, a built-in looper lets musicians create layers in real time, adjustable by simple side controls and tap ring found just under the sound hole. To further adjust the electronic functions, the "TAG Remote" iOS and Android app allows players to fine-tune effects and manage loops straight from their mobile device. Add more layers to the performance by connecting a Bluetooth device to play along to favorite tunes, isolated drum beats, or utilize the guitar as a speaker for gatherings. With a built-in tuner, tap tempo, and volume control for plugged performances, the TAG3 C is an inspiring instrument that redefines the capabilities of an acoustic-electric guitar.

Whether on the go, with a crowd or solo, writing or performing, the Yamaha TAG3 C Dreadnought TransAcoustic Acoustic-Electric Guitar in Sand Burst covers all creative needs.

A New Classic
Format: Kindle
I pre-ordered, so I was able to get the PDF and start reading early. Of all the books I own on the American Revolution, I think this one stands to become my "go to." It is encyclopedic in scope, but deftly avoids becoming a drudgery or a slog through a mire of textbook facts. Somehow, Eric has managed to include a great deal of detail without losing any of the drama. It’s the story that rises to the fore in a gripping tale that just happens to be true (and much more than that, is our heritage). All the trademark “Metaxas” hallmarks are here: judiciously placed humor and lightheartedness that never descends into silliness, seriousness that somehow never lacks in winsomeness, depth that never smothers. He manages to portray both the soberness that the subject deserves without losing the hopefulness that the story of the Revolution should inspire in us. And along the way, you’ll find yourself better understanding what “went down” and (just as importantly) what it means to you today. Excellent work. If you think another history book on the American Revolution cannot inspire you or keep your attention, this one is up to the challenge.

The History Teacher I Always Wished For
Format: Hardcover
With his trademark wit and his eye for those wonderfully absurd details that most historians tend to overlook, Metaxas drew me deeply into the story. I found myself laughing out loud one moment and profoundly moved the next. The tiny anecdotes and humorous asides were not distractions at all — they were precisely what made these towering figures suddenly feel human and unforgettable. Eric makes these historical figures flesh-and-blood again. He brings both heroes and villains vividly to life in a way that makes the drama of America’s birth feel immediate, thrilling, and deeply personal. In short, Eric Metaxas is the history teacher I always wished I had. At 600 pages, this book reads with the ease and momentum of a paperback novel, yet carries extraordinary depth and scholarship. In the end, I came away with a renewed love for American history and a deeper gratitude for the souls who made this great country possible.

A fun, inspiring, thought-provoking read.
Format: Kindle
A witty, learned page-turner, replete with wacky anecdotes but suffused by wisdom and patriotic love. Metaxas shows how the biblical view of the human person made America possible, and weaves throughout the story pieces of evidence that Providence actively aided the pious patriots against their cynical, post-Christian enemies in Britain. I devoured this book in 72 hours, and now I want to go back and read it again.
