For all you metalheads out there, the Ibanez RGD is the ultimate metal machine. Designed with down-tuning, tonal thickness, and long-scaled playing in mind, this Ibanez creation is built for speed, power, and musicality.

As an exceptional example of Ibanez momentum in motion, the RGD is sure to feel right at home in the arms of thrashers, chuggers, and djent-ers alike. Starting out with a nyatoh body, this Ibanez features extra-deep cutaways and contours to allow comfortable access to higher registers. The nyatoh body, in addition to its mobility and speed, produces a rich mid-low-end that contributes to its metal-leaning design. This body is matched with an elongated roasted maple neck. An additional inch on this neck extends the guitar's scale length to a slightly longer 26.5", making it longer than a standard scale yet not overly long. The neck's Wizard III profile, a classic Ibanez feature, keeps this longer neck speedy and playable alongside a macassar ebony fingerboard.

For metal-minded guitars, you can't go without some heat under the hood. Because of this, the Ibanez RGD features two Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker Ceramic pickups. These specially-designed humbuckers, fashioned with lows and grit in mind, summon a vast array of amplified tones for causing all sorts of stirs. What's more, these pickups are fitted with an accompanying push/pull Voicing switch that swaps their sonic character from a modern, active, high-output profile to a more clean and fluid sound. With each position catering to your best distortion effects, there's plenty to sink your teeth into. Onboard, the Ibanez RGD is fitted with sturdy hardware appointments like a Mono-rail bridge and Gotoh MG-T locking tuning machines. These fixtures, designed for absolute sturdiness in playing and setup, put players first who deserve only the best for their high-octane playing patterns.

As a modern metal marvel, the Ibanez RGD plays masterfully for players of all stripes.

Don’t buy for restaurant industry
Size: 10.5, Color: Black, Size: 10.5, Color: Black
Good looking shoes, fairly comfortable and good value based on the description shared, so I don’t feel it’s fair to rate them lower than 4 stars. I had high hopes for them based on previous reviews from others saying they wore them in the food and beverage industry that mentioned their quality and durability, however I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you do. I purchased these to wear working in a full service upscale restaurant and in less than two months have managed to have torn the material on the middle exterior section and the bottoms of the shoes are already completely worn down. Good design, but the durability needs to be improved if they’re to hold up for that industry.

DO NOT BUY (lasted less than 7 months)
Size: 11, Color: Black, Size: 11, Color: Black
I bought these for work as a bartender in August of 2025. By December, the tops were scuffed, frayed, and peeling beyond repair, and by February, the soles were coming off. I’ve never had a pair of shoes with such low quality.
