Description:
Cortec® EcoPouch® contains VpCI®-609 powder for corrosion protection of ferrous metals and aluminum. The pouches are constructed from breathable Tyvek, which allows the VCI molecules to be emitted through the membrane, and form a molecular layer on metal surfaces for rust prevention. The protective layer self-replenishes and does not need to be removed from products, just remove the pouch. Vapor phase inhibiting action protects inaccessible and recessed surfaces and provides continuous protection.

Size and Protection:
Each EcoPouch® measures 6"x10"x0.5" and protects up to 35 cubic feet of enclosed space.

How to Use:
Just determine the number of pouches required based upon the volume of space needing protection. Evenly distribute pouches throughout the space and close or seal.

Typical Applications:
Use ONLY on FERROUS metals and aluminum. Typical uses include rust prevention on tubular structures, pipes, vessels, steam condensate lines, closed circuit heating and cooling systems. Use for internal surfaces of compressors, engines, tanks, boilers; for double bottom storage tank floors and equipment after hydrostatic testing.
