Cut from 75D 3-layer SKJOLDR™ fabric; our proprietary and tough-as-hell hardshell fabric named after the Old Norse word for shield. Grim pairs rugged 20,000 H/H waterproofing with high breathability, a 100% recycled polyester face, and a PFC-free DWR all engineered for relentless winter punishment. The updated build features a refined silhouette, expanded hand pockets for rucksack and harness use, and an upgraded internal valuables pocket for secure storage.

A helmet-compatible hood with a wire-stiffened laminated peak maintains vision in driving snow, with RECCO® rescue technology integrated discreetly within. Hypalon® cuff tabs with triple reinforced VELCRO™, glove-compatible Cohaesive™ adjusters at hem and hood, anti-snag hem cords, and storm-sealed 2-way YKK® AquaGuard® zips work together as a unified, weather-locking system.
