The Heidelberg Painting Panels are a popular choice amongst artists, especially amongst painters and drawers - and their range has just increased to cater for larger artworks. We are excited to introduce the new additions to the Square and Rectangle sizes, including a giant 120x120cm square! Extra bracing has been included in these larger sizes as well as an increased depth of 34mm.
These classic panel surfaces are suitable for a range of uses and techniques such as painting, mounting prints, collage, drawing and for the application of other mixed-media materials. They have a 34mm side and a 4mm laminated birch timber surface. They provide supreme versatility as a surface for the creative artist and can be primed with gesso or equally with clear acrylic size to allow the wood texture to compliment the artwork. Ready for frameless presentation in a home, office or gallery. Each panel has a rigid backing frame to support and prevent warping.
