Everything here kicks off with a mahogany body assuming Gibson's iconic Les Paul single-cutaway form. A AAA flamed maple veneer top pairs up with this genuine mahogany body for a seamless match of brightness and warmth – you know, like a Les Paul's, right?

While original 1959 Les Paul Standards shared a lot of design specs with their 1960 brethren, a key distinction was the shape of their necks. This "Inspired by Gibson Custom" model swings in with a one-piece mahogany neck taking that cue. A one-piece mahogany neck lands with this Epiphone in a 1959 Rounded C Medium profile for a chunkier feel filling the palm.
