Kumihimo is created by interlacing several to dozens of thread bundles. The beautiful three-dimensional structure creates deep shadows on the surface. Firmly woven by hand, the fabric has a unique tension. Using 100% silk threads dyed in thousands of colors, a variety of styles and patterns are expressed in a single thin string. The process is time-consuming and requires special skills and techniques, assembling it little by little.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Noriko YUKI, born and raised in Tokyo, graduated from Tokyo Zokei University with a degree in Fine Arts in Painting. She was deeply attracted by the beauty and techniques of the Peruvian Braiding in the Andes and started studying under master Kumihimo artist Etsuko Matsushita in 2003. Also discovering the art of Japanese traditional Kumihimo, Noriko started studying and working with Kumihimo.

ABOUT KUMIHIMO
Kumihimo are braided silk cords, a traditional art and craft that has been practiced in Japan for over fourteen hundred years. Historically, Kumihimo cords were used in aristocratic costumes, interior furnishings, decorations, musical instruments, and religious equipment for temples and shrines. My dog LOVES these !!!! And he’s very picky !
Flavor Name: Chicken
Omg !! My dog is the Pickiest dog on planet EARTH ! He hates every snack treat I have bought for him and I wind up giving all the treats and vitamin supplements to the neighbor down the street who has a dog !!! But he absolutely LOVES these like CRAZY !! And I try to limit him to only a few per day ! But he gives me those puppy eyes, and stands up on his hind legs begging me for 1 more and I always wind up giving in to him !! Boy! He can’t live without these , and I make sure that I never run OUT !!! It’s plain chicken which he’s crazy about , he doesn’t like beef treats at all , so these are excellent for the price point and must be very tasty because he loves them totally !!! It’s a nice long cut stem of chicken , but he devours it quickly , and it comes with a stay fresh packet inside the bag ! But these never last because he eats them up quickly ! The price is very good for the quantity that you get inside the bag ! My dog just loves these !!

Healthy treats
Flavor Name: Chicken, Flavor Name: Chicken
This Chicken Jerky is amazing. You can literally break up the chicken with your hands. I am cautious about what I give my dog but it is the real deal. My Chihuahua LOVES it and he is super picky. Even the price is reasonable and it is a healthy treat.

My dog won't touch anything else
Flavor Name: Chicken
Suffice it to say I have full bags of other chicken jerky treats. They're open. They're also full. She won't touch anything else. She loves Pawmate and Pawmate only.

Origin of product
Flavor Name: Chicken
I ordered these for my 12year old pup a few months ago and continued ordering bc he loves them. I may have reviewed these treats in the past…I cut them into small pieces to last a little longer as they are expensive. They always smell like as I think they should. However, I finally took some time to read the ingredients and saw that these are radiation treated, which supposedly is safe, but questionable if it’s from China. Now I’m hesitant to order them again. I admit he seems fine after eating them but I’m afraid what could happen in the long run. Just my thoughts.
