The outer shell is weldable .180 in. wall machined chromoly tubing. This specific joint is a 2 1/2 in. o.d. and features a 2.625 in. mounting width and a .5625 in. thru bolt hole. I got the twelve inch handle. It is too short and does not flex enough to release ball in right direction. Its almost impossible to aim and doesn't sent the ball far enough.
