Straight out of the lauded FCS comes this Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition '50s Twisted Telecaster Custom Journeyman Relic. It's a lot to say (and type), but boy is it easy on the eyes! These Telecasters of the '50s and beyond need no introduction—if you don't play one you know someone who does.

This Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition '50s Twisted Telecaster starts with a 2-piece ash body a la Fender's original '52 Tele design. The ash is sorted for light weight to keep it nice and comfortable on the strap. Around the whole of the top and back is parchment body binding for a touch of vintage class and style. Anchoring everything on top is a reverse Nocaster bridge with compensated brass saddles promoting great sustain and killer intonation.

The neck and fretboard are a dream of gorgeous, flamed maple with an unfinished neck back for supremely smooth navigation. The depth of the neck goes from .850" at the first fret to a fairly substantial .990" at the twelfth fret. Coupled with the 7.25"-9.50" compound radius, this keeps string spacing even all the way up the neck and keeps bends from buzzing out as you move up. The 6105 (Narrow Tall) frets are another modern upgrade giving you not-so-vintage-but-not-quite-jumbo playability.

This Tele is loaded with two hand-wired Twisted Tele single coil pickups, the bridge of which is reverse angled to add a bit of beef on the treble side and some spank on the lower strings. The whole package is configured with a hot-rodded Fat '50s wiring with master volume and tone knobs and a 3-way toggle to take you from vintage Tele goodness and up through more modernized tones.

The FCS Journeyman relic job is subtle and understated giving you the feeling of getting a vintage instrument that was well taken care of and waiting for you over the decades. Some checking and dings are present throughout with some aged dulling of the hardware with only moderate playwear. Lucky you!

This FCS Twisted Tele Custom ships complete with Tele/Strat tweed hardshell.

Worked for only 4 months. Now produces metal shards. Dangerous
Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.

Can opener
It doesn't shut off by itself when done and doesn't shut off when I push the button, so after a while it will shut off but when it wants too after you take it off the can ,like 30 seconds. But I do like the way it cuts, a clean cut and lid removal nice.

Very dangerous metal shavings!!!
Negative stars if I could. This is a very dangerous product. It worked well for a while. But then it quit effectively removing the lid instead I got little tiny shavings of metal around the edge. These shavings of metal go into the food and very dangerous. So this was a waste of money and incredibly dangerous. I am throwing it in the trash today.
