Vulcan VBP18ES-1E1ZN Description
The Vulcan VBP18ES (formerly VBP18) holding and transport cabinet's universal tray slides are secured on 11⁄2-inch centers and can be adjusted to accommodate (18) 18-inch by 26-inch pans or (36) 12-inch by 20-inch by 21⁄2-inch pans. Because this unit has two Dutch doors, operators can access a specific part of the cabinet without exposing the full cabinet interior to ambient temperatures, which helps minimize temperature changes. Designed to be moved, this 271⁄4-inch-wide by 33-inch-deep by 721⁄2-inch-high unit is fitted with 5-inch casters; two swivel and brake, while the other two are rigid.
Precooked food can be safely stored in the Vulcan VBP18ES holding and transport heated cabinet because it can maintain temperatures as high as 190 degrees Fahrenheit. The forced-air blower system circulates warm air evenly and gently throughout the unit, eliminating cold spots, and insulation built into the side walls and top help retain temperatures throughout use. Operators can adjust holding temperatures using its intuitive, knob-actuated electronic control system. The digital display provides a legible temperature readout so users can identify temperatures quickly.
