The Borla S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System is custom-tuned for the Volkswagen Jetta GLI (MK7.5) equipped with the 2.0L turbocharged engine. This high-performance system features a 3-inch diameter main pipe that transitions into dual 2.25-inch tailpipes, specifically designed to unleash the hidden horsepower and torque of the GLI's powerplant. The S-Type sound level delivers a sportier, more aggressive exhaust note that perfectly complements the vehicle’s performance pedigree while maintaining Borla's "No-Drone" guarantee for a quiet, comfortable cabin during highway cruising.
Built from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, this exhaust system offers superior durability and corrosion resistance compared to factory or lower-grade steel alternatives. The kit includes a specialized adapter (2.6" O.D. to 3" O.D.) for a seamless connection to the Original Equipment (O.E.) downpipe, though it can also be bolted directly to an aftermarket 3-inch downpipe for maximum flow.
